Getting Started FAQs
Here are some common questions that are asked before getting started.
No booking needed. Just turn up at registration time – Sunday 11:00am or Wednesday 8:00pm – with your dog, vaccination certificate and a standard collar.
Your dog’s current vaccination certificate, your dog on a standard collar, martingale or correction chain. No harnesses, haltis, clickers or tug toys in class.
Yes – puppy classes are available for dogs from 12 weeks old.
Most breeds and sizes are welcome at Southern Obedience Dog Club, excluding those dogs legally declared dangerous,menacing or restricted breeds in Victoria.

Training stops if the temperature reaches 33 degrees. No training is held on public holidays. Check our Facebook page for any last-minute changes.
